ST. ANTHONY REVEALS PLAN FOR NEW FACILITIES IN NORTH OKC AND MUSTANG

St. Anthony Healthplex - North OKC

Oklahoma City (October 17, 2013) – Today, St. Anthony announced the construction of its fourth St. Anthony Healthplex campus.  Construction will begin immediately on St. Anthony Healthplex North on the southwest corner of North Western Avenue and Memorial Road, just south of the Kilpatrick Turnpike.  The nearly 100,000 square foot project will be accomplished in partnership with Miller Neff Development.  Completion is slated for February 2015.

St. Anthony will replicate many of the key features of its new facilities currently operational in East and South Oklahoma City as well as introduce unique programs to the concept designed to meet the needs of the community in North Oklahoma City.

St. Anthony Healthplex North will include a full service freestanding Emergency Room with a dedicated four-room Pediatric Emergency Department and eight adult rooms.  Diagnostic imaging capabilities in the facility include two x-ray suites, CT scanner, MRI and Breast Center with mammography and ultrasound.  The second floor will be occupied by St. Anthony Physicians Group primary care physicians and specialist physicians.

The facility will include a comprehensive, state-of-the-art electronic health record integrated with St. Anthony partner hospitals throughout the state, spacious emergency area with attention to unique lighting and materials to ensure quietness and a soothing atmosphere. Patient-focused details in each emergency exam room will offer the feeling of a luxury hotel rather than a clinical setting, with special child-friendly touches in the pediatric emergency rooms and separate waiting area.  The Breast Center borrows spa-like design features to enhance the patient experience.

“Our focus is always on providing exceptional patient care that is easily accessible for the community.  The location of our new facility provides not only convenient access, but a wide range of outpatient services in an environment that provides high levels of customer service.  Healthcare will continue to move towards delivery in outpatient settings, and this further positions St. Anthony to meet that trend,” stated Joe Hodges, Regional President/CEO, SSM Health Care Oklahoma.

David Neff and Darin Miller were actively involved in all aspects of the planning with St. Anthony.  Jason Givens will serve as the project manager with Miller Architects to provide architectural and engineering design services on the buildings.

Multi-use commercial lease space will be available on the campus, and more information is available at www.millerneff.com.   For information about St. Anthony and St. Anthony Healthplex campuses, visit www.saintsok.com or www.saintsnearyou.com.
